Visit Southaven

Barbecue, Sports, Festivals and Blues…We’re famous for it all!

While Southaven is similar to other Southern cities in that we love our hot weather and any reason to celebrate the barbecue, sports and festivals we love so much, Southaven is still home to many things you can’t find anywhere else. In Southaven, you’ll find a unique collection of the world-famous Interstate Barbecue, Tops Bar-B-Q, Tom’s BBQ and Deli, and Memphis BBQ Company, that all help make Southaven home to the largest selection of restaurants in North Mississippi. Every summer, more than 1,650 youth baseball teams come to Snowden Grove Park for tournament season, including the Dizzy Dean World Series. At the end of each summer, Southaven plays host to the Mid-South Fair, a weeklong celebration full of shows, games, music, delicious food and fun contests.

Best of all, we’re only a short drive to the entertainment and attractions in Memphis, Tennessee. Catch a minor league baseball game at one of the most beautiful, family-friendly stadiums in the nation, AutoZone Park, home to the Memphis Redbirds. Or, watch the NBA all-stars on the Memphis Grizzlies play in the FedExForum. Boogie in the blues clubs along Beale Street and tour Elvis Presley’s Graceland. Looking to explore further? Southaven is at the gateway to the Mississippi Delta and the famous Hwy 61 Blues Trail, too.
